Archivist X Pressed & Folded
We’ve been long time fans of Archivist Gallery and have such admiration for their multi coloured letterpressed cards. One day we hope to be able to stretch to more than one colour in our handprinted range! So when the opportunity arose to collaborate with them on some match box designs we were pleased as punch.
It was a joyous process producing ‘Bright Spark’ and ‘Safety Matches’. Once they were designed we cut them in lino, printed them and scanned them to send to Archivist. They in turn produced the plates to print on their presses in Britain’s largest dedicated letterpress printing facility.
